Editors Comments

Hello and welcome to our second newsletter, we hope you had a Merry Christmas and wish you a prosperous New Year.

Hopefully you will have read our first newsletter and therefore already know the format, which is to keep you updated of the developments and the “goings on” within Powergraphic Displays over the past and upcoming few months. We hope you find it interesting.

The start of any new year is both a time of reflection and anticipation, looking back on 2006, with its triumphs, and disappointments, and the outcome of the various business decisions that were made.

2006 was a busy year for us with new ideas and designs, we would like to thank all involved for the extra efforts made to achieve this, especially the production team and designers who stepped up to the plate, working longer and harder to ensure both existing and new clients had their expectations met, if not exceeded.

Looking forward into 2007 we already have a number of ongoing contracts that will see us with regular business through 2007 and into 2008, offering many new exciting opportunities for imagination and flair in our thinking and to further stretch the little grey cells in our desire to give you, dear customer, something new and exciting.

We are, as ever, keen to listen to the specifics of what our clients and the broader market require. We then respond to these needs with products that our clients can take to the market with its continually changing demands.

We have enlarged on some interesting case studies for you on the projects section below.

After the very positive response we received from the three shows we exhibited at last year, we are attending a number of trade shows this year. We will keep you posted on where you can come and see us and we will let you know more details of our new designs and concepts in the upcoming issues.

If we can help you to increase your visibility to potential customers, or you have something you want to discuss, then please call or email us.

Thank you for taking the time to read our newsletter and if you have any comments please let me know.

Sales Manager.

Projects

JD Sports, Arndale Centre.

Multi graphic scrolling lightboxes grabbing attention at JD Sports in the Arndale Centre.

We were contacted by long standing client JD Sports to help them create an attention grabbing illuminated graphic display at the bottom of the escalator at their Arndale Centre store in Manchester. They requested three units that would not be synchronised so that there would be movement on at least one or more units at any given time. The Rollavisions are used to display graphics of this seasons latest fashion ranges. The images have recently been updated for the Christmas season. At the top of the escalator they wanted another larger Rollavision to catch the eye of shoppers as they entered the store at the main entrance, which due to the location had to be created with a roller system so the whole unit could be rolled backwards into a walkway away from the glass frontage of the display area so as to enable graphic changes.

Edgeslim Display System, EDS.

Another example of our goal to continually strive for new and bold designs.

This new concept in product display and advertising combines the elegant wafer thin 19.8mm lightbox, the Edgeslim and adaptable product display areas. They are ideal in windows so shoppers can see the merchandise displayed in the window in conjunction with eye catching illuminated graphics, then in the inside of the shop they can pick the  merchandise for sale from the display area. The display area is fully backward compatible for all old slat wall accessories. Modern elegant design can be pole or wire mounted. Easily interchangeable slats allow you to increase or reduce the display area as your needs require. The unit even if installed in a window allows a view into the shop beyond, not creating a physical barrier to shoppers.
